We are burstin' at the seams to celebrate Catie's 1 year ampuversary! We, over here in Cometland started last night!
So, let do a SUPER SHOUT-OUT to Catie!
Just when we were ready to crank the music up loud and hop around proud...Catie's mom slows it down and reminds with us how beautiful and sweet Catie is with this special video that she made.
So, let's give a shout-out to Catie's mom for putting together this touching video!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Counting our blessings, indeed! Catie, you ROCK! We can hear the fireworks from here, the whole world is celebrating your big ampuversary!!!! Count us in on the ruckus!
What a great video too, I love the way it shows the seasons. When a dog gets diagnosed, all humans can ever think about is being sad over the thought of their dog not being around for next summer, or Christmas, or whatever. You prove that dogs can be there for the next big celebrations, even after a diagnosis.
WOOOO HOOOO! Congrats!!!

Carmen,
Oh what a beautiful video and what a beautiful girl you have. Happy 1 Year Ampuversary! I am so happy for you that you've reached 1 year - just amazing and so wonderful. It really brings a huge smile to my face (and tears, of course) as I know how important this milestone is. Count my blessings - what comforting words to think of.
We will be celebrating in your honor Catie and here's to many, many more ampuversaries and celebrations! Whoo hoo!!! You are a rock star!
Kami, Angel M and Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
I am always thrilled when another of our warriors makes it to that one year mark. We will happily help Catie celebrate. Rooorooorooo!
We have a new treat at our house. Now that we have the weight stabled out, we get 1/2 of a baked sweet potato for a snack. It breaks the monotony of the green beans.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Yay Catie! I am so happy for you guys 🙂 !!! One year 🙂 Sammy and I will do a little doggie dance in your honor. We are trying to stay away from treats because we are both tipping the scales, but a doggie hop for Catie will be fun and we may sing a little too!
Congrats and I sincerely hope for many more for you.
