Hi all,
With the help of very generous family and friends, including many here, Maggie was one of the top vote getter's (fund raisers) in the 2011 "Cancer Can't Keep a Good Dog Down" calendar contest sponsored by Luke Robinson's group 2 Dogs, 2000 Miles and their new foundation 2 Million Dogs.
Here is their mission:
2 Million Dogs was formed with the singular aim of eradicating cancer in
pets and people and it will work towards that end by educating people
about and investing in comparative oncology studies.
Maggie will be Miss April when the calendar comes out!!
The calendars will be up for sale in November sometime- you can check the links above, and I will try and remember to post a reminder. The funds go toward eradicating K9 cancer- a cause we can all relate to!
Thanks again to all of you here who voted for Mag (and Fortis and Cemil too!). I owe you all personal thank-you emails but computer time is limited these days (dang cranky shoulder!).
The picture below is the one of Maggie that will appear in the calendar- it was taken on March 26th this year, her 11th birthday.

Hello Miss April!
Congrats on getting into the Calendar Maggie!!! It would be awesome if we could set up something like this on the tripawd website! Tripawd Calendars!!! (Maybe a future fundraising idea...)

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Congrats, Karen! This will be something you treasure. I'm happy to see a tripawd made it.

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Check out the 2010 version HERE.
It is a recognition calendar acknowledging the ongoing support of some of the most active Tripawd.com contributors from 2009! Featuring 24 active Tripawds members this calendar makes the perfect monthly reminder that its better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.
I haven't seen any discussion of the 2011 version yet though.... but then it's only September.
