It's been rough goings around here lately, so I hope we can brighten things up a little bit here with a little bit of good news.
Today is Jilly Bean's NINE MONTH ampuversary! It's very hard to believe it's been nine months since her amputation (and 15 months since diagnosis, but hey, who's counting right )! She is doing fantastic since going off the leukeran and this is probably the longest we've gone since a trip to the vet! (knock wood!) Next up is a trip to the oncologist for a check up and xrays on October 1.
Here's to another great month
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. "Like" Jill's facebook page: https://www.fac.....tty?ref=hl Proud member of the WINTER WARRIORS!!!! Her blog can be read at http://jillsjou.....ipawds.com. xoxo
WOOHOOOOO! Jilly you are simply amazing! Congratulations pretty girl.
You sure did brighten our day, thank you. As much as we have experienced so many tragic losses lately, please don't ever be afraid to share good news. As I said in Jill's blog, we mourn the losses but we also remember celebrate the good times like this. it is how we can be there for someone with a Tripawd who is looking for hope, for a goal to strive for, for a hero to cheer on. Jill, you are our hero!
xoxo

Happy, Happy Jilly Bean!!
Congrats on another month, I know you have lots of ampuversaries in your future!
And thanks for watching out for us, Obie seems to be feeling better!
Karen
Happy hoppy hippy ampuversary, Jill! You know, you have wigged out your mom an awful lot lately, so can you give her a month or so without any panic attacks? Please eat well, poop where you should and when you should, ignore Jack like you should, ignore all toys unless no one's looking, and admire yourself in your new drawing.
Erica, I don't know what I have for treats around here but I'll dig up something for Evelyn tonight. We will eat something bad for us and honor Jill.

Keep kicking cancer's butt!!!
Joan and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Woo Hoo Jill! You pretty princess warrior, you! Congrats on 9 months of kickin' cancers butt! You're a rock star!
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
