Snoops just got his tenth month check up. All good, blood work, urine and X-rays, all clear. He amazes me every day. The only bobble is we found a growth on his lower lip two days after this check up. Needless to say the boy was not thrilled going back soooooo soon. Our Dr did a needle biopsy, which we should know results in 48 hours. All else in mouth looks normal. She's not very concerned so we're not unless we need to be.
Taking it one day at a time.
Overall Snoops been good, enjoying his walks and playing with Abby. He was a little melancholy for a few days after we lost our sheltie, Missy. She was two months shy of 16, and she was Snoops buddy since he came into our lives. We loved on him and Abby extra more to lessen their(and our loss)
She lived a good life and will be missed dearly by us.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Esther, I know to not have Missy with you after sixteen years, day in and day out is heartbreakng. A quote that Maxi
mutt uses..."Grief is the price we pay for love" I know Missy's life was well lived and well loved. Her life mattered and she will not be forgotten here, okay?

Snoop knows that Missy is still around.....they probably "communicate" more than you could know! 'Pretty sure Missy's telling Snoop what a great time she had with you!

Sure would like to see some pictures Esther!! We need to celebrate Missy's delightful life and Snoops incredible TEN MONTH AMPUVERSARY and good test results,!! PICTURES!!!

Sending love and hugs to you and Snoops and surrounding you with Missy's grace.

Esther it's good to hear from you, congratulations to Snoop! I'm sure that little lumpy is nothing, but I'm so glad your vet aspirated it.

My sincere condolences for your loss of Missy, it's never an easy thing for the pack to go through. I know you gave her a great life, you are such a great doggie pawrent.

Snoop and Abby, pawty it up and have extra treats for Missy, I know she's watching over all of you!

Yay Snoops!  Ten months is fantastic.  Keeping paws crossed that the lip thing is nothing.
