Snoop celebrates his one year ampuversary today. It's amazing how quickly time has moved forward?
Snoop is doing great. He's glad we are back up North. He's happy hanging out on the back porch, sunbathing with his buddy Abby. Taking his walks to the barn and up the street to check out what's going on!
So life is good.....real good!
We want to thank everyone who has supported and celebrated with us. We are forever thankful. It has been the support that has helped us navigate our way through.
A special heartfelt thanks to Rene and Jim for making this possible for all here.

Amy & Spirit Libby
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Happy 1 year Snoop! I can't believe it's been a year, keep on hopping on!

Snoop and Abby look adorable together, but that one of Snoop must makes my heart flutter. I had to put it in the Tripawds Gallery, hope you don't mind.

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
We thank everyone for the well wishes, they mean so much.
Unfortunately the Snoop has strained his rear left leg. Limping so today we've been only resting, taking tramadol for discomfort. I think were on the track for a good recoup here. Vets coming out tomorrow to check, so hopefully R&R is all we need.
Esther and her Snoop
For goodness sakes Snoop!! You apparenty celebrated this great milestone jist a touch too much!!
And you still are on track for a continued GREAT recovery!! These strains happen all too often withour tripawds!
Gosh, who was it......it was Murhy...yeah...jist came to me...h did that little strain thing too. Can't remember the details but basically, fine one minute, then lame the next! Some rest and meds took care of it!
I thinkin Snoops' case, ice cream and cake will help!!
Check in with us after the vet stops by, okay? Everything is fine...realy! Just need to make him take it easy for a few days!
Love and hugs!
