After much searching we have finally added a new member to our household.  On Friday we picked up our new English Mastiff puppy.  He is 10 weeks old and weighs 30 pounds.  I think we are going to name him Julian ("Jules" for short).  Our Canadian friends might know a show called The Trailer Park Boys.  Julian is a big beefy character on that show and that seems to fit our puppy.

We have missed Tazzie so much and Loki needed a playmate so we thought the time was right.  I just love the giant breeds so I couldn't resist another Mastiff, but I wanted a fawn male (it would have been too hard for me to get another brindle).  This puppy is very sweet and both of my other dogs have accepted him.  I know that there will never be another Tazzie but this guy is very cute and makes us laugh.

OH BOY PUPPY BREATH....oh if he isn't the cutest darn thing...oh my gosh....gee...how big did you say they get?  probably too big for me huh...but maybe I could just keep him til he gets past where I can make him move!!  SEND HIM TO ME IMMEDIATELY...I'll send him back when he gets too big...like about a week huh?

Oh I am so happy for you .... have a wonderful time and keep us posted!!!  (and surely that isn't his crate, when you took him out he got too big to put him back in)

He is too adorable, Pam.  I'm so glad you are ready for a new 'giant' in your life. That really is a big step in the healing process. Can't wait to see pictures as he grows, and grows, and grows.

what a great looking guy!!  takes me back many, many years when i had a bullmastiff.. as a puppy, every part of him grew at different speeds...and the slobber - i'm sure whoever owns that house now still finds dried 'swacks' on the walls.  congratulations on the new addition!!!

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included).  She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
