Life is good….Its been 3 months since Riley's amputation and she is going great.
Most of the pictures below were taken today – she is such a happy girl.

Miss Riley, you are the picture of dignity (in most of the photos!) and are a knockout! I've always thought you have the most intelligent eyes. We just had our pawty in your honor--tangerines! Evelyn's favorite (she'll kill me to get one) and Dakota thinks they're mighty fine, too. Keep on truckin', young lady!

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Riley we thank you for sharing your journey with us - and I love all your pictures! It indeed looks as though things are well with you in your world. Such expressions of peace and happiness. 3months is so awesome and - for us it was somewhat of a relax and breathe ampuversary.. we are sure hoping for you to continue on in such good health and happiness and anxiously await future ampuversaries to tick by!

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Kami, Angel Mackenzie and Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!

Thanks everyone for the comments and well wishes.....It was alot of fun trying to get Riley to
pose for all the pix in one "afternoon sitting" .....1/2 a bag of treats later she was completely wired and running
around the pool !!!
