Sorry everypawdy that it took me so long to get my act together with some pictures of the Tripawd pawty we had in Grand Rapids, MI last Saturday. The big news was that Gerry's Mom drove 5 hours from Wisconsin just to attend! It was pawesome to get to meet her and Gerry, especially since Gerry was the pal that Nova forwarded Killbarney to last year (she likes the Great Dane Pub in Madison, you know). It was a festive occasion, since it was just a couple of days after Queen Nova's 2-year ampuversary. Attendees included Queen Nova, her quadpawd sister Emmy, boo-eautiful speed-demon greyhound Boo and mom Amanda, handsome boy Rocky and mom Michelle, and rabbit/squirrel huntin' Gerry and mom Bri, including her friend with her quadpawd dog Biggie.
First, my favorite video of the day… Boo led the group in singing "Dog Save the Queen" to our regal queen (in "roo-roo" of course):
Ok, I sure hope this works…. I have posted a photo album of the photos on my Facebook page, which I will post on the Tripawds Facebook Page . I hope this link works because I don't have the patience to link each of the photos one by one here. Keepin' my paws crossed….
Dane Mom Sue at nova.tripawds.com and Mom to Beautiful Great Dane Queen Nova, a Blind Tripawd, who kicked cancer's butt from 11/08-03/13. The Queen is Spirit Nova now, but her legacy lives on here at Tripawds!
Oh my! What a voice! Applause, applause to Boo!
What an awesome gathering of Tripawds and their families!

Great stuff, Sue!
Here are some pics I have from the pawty (in addition to the video - see Gerry's blog: http://gerry.tr.....0/11/16/ ). Most of them are on Gerry's blog too, but I found a couple more good ones:
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.

It looks wonderful! I love how all the puppies got along and were off leash. I am impressed that you had some coming from so far away. I have always wanted a pup that would behave with unknown dogs off leash. What great puppies and people! It is nice to see we have such a nice crew

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Truth be told, Gerry had to be leashed off and on, due to squirrels and a not completely closed off fence. And a couple of the boys got overly "excited" now and then around the girls and needed time outs. But yes, overall, they got along very well!
