I missed Trouble's ampuversary yesterday! And while I'm admitting to being an airhead lately, I'll also admit that last month was not her 17th month ampuversary - this month is! You guys will just let someone go on yammering when you KNOW they are WRONG! Who could ask for better friends than that?
Trouble continues to do well. She is curled up next to me barking for Duke to behave. He's a little too excitable for her. He jumps around and she barks and tries to stay out of the way, lol. The weather is beginning to heat up, low to mid 80's, and as she did last year, she is beginning to pant quite a bit. We are deep into allergy season and are just completing a round of prednisone and the munchies/thirsties that come with it, but for now the allergies are controlled. We are all looking forward to the Texas tripawd pawty this coming weekend in Katy. A road trip will be a good time for all of us.
Along with good thoughts for each of you, we send a special wish for continued good health to our friend Nova who shares our 17 months. And we never celebrate without thinking of our angel heros and their pawrents - you each hold a special place in our heart. Tripawds rock!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Seventeen months. That's so amazing. Way to beat down that nasty cancer! Love it.

Oh Miss Trouble, this is just so wonderful! We love to hop side by side with you in this Tripawd Warrior journey! Nova is coming up on 18 months May 11th, and I am just amazed that after all this time she is still cancer-free. Trouble, do we rock or what? It feels so pawesome to give hope to other Tripawds. We are kickin' cancer's butt!!!
Dang, Trouble, you are so lucky to be going to a Tripawd pawty. We would give anything to have Jim, Rene, Wyatt and Spirit Jerry come to the Midwest for a Tripawd pawty. I have to figure out a way to entice them to come in this direction.
Best wishes for continued good health for you, sweet girl!

L'il Miss Trouble continues to inspire. Can't wait to see y'all again. We can say that – "y'all" – now that we're officially texans. 🙂

Yippy, Yippy Yips and Skips!
Yay, Trouble!

You know I would have called you out on it if I had been here all these 17 months! But I have been here long enough to sorta forget Trouble has/had cancer! I blame that on her good health and not my self-centeredness! You better too!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Congratulations upon reaching this milestone. We knew just how many months it had been and Dianna has a point about adding Awesome to Trouble's handle. Having had another of the November five, I can clearly say that we could not be happier with the success that Trouble and the Queen have enjoyed. Just like the annimated Cherry, you need to help pull along all those who are starting this journey with the great success that you have enjoyed. You two just keep whipping this cancer and show that there is hope.
Spirit Cherry's Dad
Aw heck, we can't add for nuthin'! Plus, we were just looking forward to the day that she really did reach 17 months, so we didn't want to ruin the pawty!
We're just so hoppy she's celebrating another milestone!!! Yeay!!!!!
Trouble, you are something. Keep it up!

Hey Trouble
Was looking for a chance to say how much I've been admiring your new avatar, so this is it!! But I think you kind of look like a hounddog (hounddogs are cute), but maybe that just shows how little I know about pits.
Mid-80's and it is only July?!? You are one tough little dawggie, Trouble.
