I just wanted to add this in case any of you missed it.
Nikki just celebrated her 2 month ampuversary which is great news and is doing well!
But her new brother, Buddy (a rescued rotty from just a few months ago) was just diagnosed with bone cancer in his right rear leg.
Let's all send our best wishes to their pawrents!
Cometdog
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
We did miss that. Poor Buddy... thanks for posting this update.

Wonderful news for Nikki. We love all ampuversary celebrations.
So very sorry to hear about Buddy. Wishing Buddy a speedy recovery. He's very lucky to have new caring pawrents that are experienced and know what the options are and can make a decitions for care based on Buddy's needs. My heart goes out to them, this has to be extremely stressful for them.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Comet, you are so thoughtful. Yeah, we didn't see it until today.
It's unreal. Two dogs. One family. Cancer in both. Ugh! This is the first time here at Tripawds we've had two dogs in the same household get diagnosed within moths of eachother. What the heck is going on in this world?
Nikki's family has been so optimistic and pawsitive, we know they can help Buddy get through anything too. Lotsa love here going out to them.

Happy ampuversary, Nikki! Holly definitely ate a few extra treats for you yesterday! (we posted on your blog over the weekend - so saw your news, but just also wanted to wish you well here, too).
And Buddy - we are keeping you in our hearts and prayers. We hope all goes well with your visit to CSU, and are sure that Nikki will help take good care of you. And Holly had some treats for you, too!
Sending lots of hugs, and healing thoughts to both of you and your pawrents,
Holly and Holly's mom
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Tasha 8 years old, First cancer diagnosis 6/26/09, Last cancer diagnosis 9/26/09, Amputation 10/01/09, Loving our girl moment by moment.
Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….
Talk about mixed feelings. We of course could not be any happier for Nikki and want to always celebrate these milestones. Never let even a day pass without giving thanks and even more so when we have such a greate milestone as 2 months facing us. I was the real turning point for Miss Cherry. However, we are equally crushed by the news regarding Buddy. While I will not use them, I can totally understand why one would use those nasty words that Queen Nova mentioned in her last blog. When can we get this horrible shadow off our backs.
Spirit Cherry's Dad
I saw this on Nikki's blog but quite by accident. I usually only read the forums so I am glad you posted it. My prayers are with Nikki and Buddy. Is there an update?
Debra
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
Happy Ampuversary Nikki... and good luck to Buddy and the beginning of his cancer journey. Luckily, he has a big sister who can show him the Tripawd ropes!!!
Angel Jake's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie.
