Can I just say, I love you guys?!!! This weekend, for those of you not up to date on my drama, was my very first jewelry sale at a local arts and crafts show, and it was incredibly stressful. Months of making inventory, combined with personal insecurities and not nearly enough hours in a day, and I've been a nutcase for days!!! Plus, with Rio's health and me not wanting to leave her for any length of time, I've been waffling back and forth for months about whether or not I should just eat my booth fee and be a no-show. So, with lots of prodding and pushing, I took the plunge.
Friday, I sold 4 items. Yeah, four! Obviously not what I was hoping for, and I was a little discouraged (especially since others at the site were selling lots of stuff). Friday night, I sold a few more to my Facebook friends, so that eased the sting a little. Saturday, I got up, rejuvenated, energized and confident! And I sold one pair of earrings! So yes, there was a complete meltdown last night, and I don't know if I could have gotten back up tomorrow and done it all over again if it weren't for my Tripawds friends. All of your support and encouragement gave me the push I needed to get up and go out there again today, even after yesterday's disaster. I don't know that I could have faced another day of that without you folks having my back.
Some of you even shared my Facebook albums with your friends!!! When I woke to that this morning, I was touched beyond words! You people are amazing, and I just wanted to take a moment and let you all know, just how much your friendship and support means to me.
And I think I was still rocking the Tripawds mojo today, because I sold bunches of bling -- even a couple of pretty big $$$ items!!!!

Today I go to the post office to pick up my mail held from my trip to Florida. While I'm there, I will be shipping my ring off to you so you can work your magic and see about making our wedding bands that might kinda-sorta match the one I'm sending you. And you will make a boatload of money on those because you can charge G. a whole lot and his still-guilty conscience will pay up! (I never said that. I will deny that till my dying day.)
From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

We are there for you because we believe in you and your talents! Your stuff is beautiful. I love my Micki Monroe Original Shiny Pretty Things!!!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

There are many days Micki, I have to remind myself when sales are not good, that..."It's not me."! Trust me when I say...in sales, you can get a lot of self doubt! It's the nature of the beast!
Just keep plugging along...it will work out! Tripawd Mojo helps too!
