Hey everypawdy,
I had my 6 month ampuversary a couple of days ago, and my mom totally forgot! So no special dinner, no chicken leg, no stinky sardines, not even a "Way to go, Rio!" What a loser, Mom! I hope all of my tripawd friends will remind her that she needs to celebrate my special day with some yummy treats or at least a special meal for dinner tonight.
(I am sitting under her desk, conjuring up some super stinky reminders for her, right now! That'll teach her to forget!)

Definitely you should get at least TWO days of special treats and dinners to make up for her forgetting your 6 month ampuversary! I'd add in some ice cream, a day at the dog park, and a trip to the lake for a swim! It should be ALL about you for the next few days for sure. And keep up the stinky reminders!

Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Hoorah Rio! 6 months is pretty pawsome - even if the celebrations are just a little bit belated. You can totally milk that and get more treats!
Abby
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Rio, 6 months is indeed pawseome! I am very happy for you and believe you deserve extra treats for sure! Take care and we will be waiting to hear the 7 month announcement!

the monkeydogs only THINK they have invaded the tripawd state
Alright, I'm feeling appropriately chastised, and want you all to know that Rio got some yummy (and really stinky) BISON for dinner tonight, plus what I like to call "doggie soup" — my special concoction of smelly-you-don't-wanna-know-what-all blend based on Dr. Dressler's Cancer Diet. Hopefully now she'll stop "killing me softly" under my desk.
Thanks all for your good wishes. The Woo sends her best right back atcha!

Yay Rio! Has it been 6 months already?! Woohoo and congrats!! It's okay Mom to slide once in awhile, it just means that your life is full with Rio and you aren't letting cancer get in the way 🙂
We are glad we got a chance to meet you at the NW tripawds event and look forward to seeing you again.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Stinky reminders? Oh that's priceless, Rio. (I'm going to try that myself next year; my husband totally, absolutely forgot my BIRTHDAY last month).
Happy six-month ampuversary! Glad your mom served you some belated but fine goodies!

Kami, Golden Angel Mackenzie, Kobe and Scarlett
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
