Our Chihuahua cross Meg was diagnosed with a mast cell tumour in her left hind leg in August, and became a tripawd on September 21st. She is well out of the recovery stage now and absolutely having a ball in tripawd life!
Katie continues to update Meggymoo's blog - the latest celebrating her one month ampuversary!
Bravo! That is so wonderful! I'm hopping over to her blog right now!

Congratulations to you and Meg on enjoying life. She certainly looks like a happy dog in your blog. I look forward to the Santa photos but then there is Halloween...Kerren and Tripawd Kitty Mona
Halloween isn't a big thing here in Australia, but given we have a three legged dog, we'll have to take advantage!! Maybe dotti (meg's sister) in her shark outfit, and Meg with a gory looking wound around her leg stump . Will need to look up dog safe body paint/chalk.
Thanks for the well wishes everyone, your support from the get-go has been amazing, and continues to be! Will keep her blog updated with the photo shoots.
We will most definitely need to see pictures of the shark and shark victim!
I'm glad Meg is doing well - keep it up!

Right rear leg amp 7/12/16 due to OSA. Metastatic lesion on her right front leg, January 2017. Joined the Winter Warriors January 19, 2017. Run free my sweet girl.
Meg's amazing journey continues in the latest instalment of Meg's blog - "Hopping around".
Save for the rotating stump when she needs to scratch herself, Meg is just as she was pre-surgery now, her hair is almost completely grown back and she's happy and healthy. Couldn't be happier with her progress!
Great news!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
Earlier this week we were absolutely over the moon to receive Meg & Dotti's Santa Paws photos back from the RSPCA.
You can check out the blog with the pics here, and private message either myself or Katie if you would like us to send a Christmas card from our little treasures!
P.S.: you guys are lucky - we haven't shared these photos with anyone else yet!
P.P.S. Meg's not totally enjoying life right now sadly - a nasty eye ulcer has popped up, but we're managing it!
Yes! Sign me up!! I saw the photos in her blog earlier and thought they were absolutely adorable!!
I woukd be honored to have a Christmas card from Meg and Dottie
Sorry about the eye ulcer. I know that has to be annoying to her! Ugh!! A speedy recovery is in order!
Hugs!
