Hi all. A couple months ago I won a pet portrait session at a silent auction. Well, we met with the photographer and did our session last month. The photographer's name is Lisa Scarsi, and she couldn't have been nicer or more patient with our pups. She also went a step further and wrote a very nice entry in her blog about our session. Click on the attached link and take a look: http://www.lisa......com/blog/
Some of the photos are attached to the entry, and I think you'll agree (at least I hope everyone does!!) that they came out really nice. Max had a growth on his eye at the time of the shoot, but it's since been removed. It ended up being a melanoma, but our doc is confident he got everything and it won't return. And Lisa Scarsi was kind enough to photoshop it out of the final photos that we picked! If anyone reading this lives in Southern California (Orange County specifically) and is looking for a professional pet photographer, I would highly recommend giving her a call http://www.lisa.....carsi.com/
Enjoy!

Jake's Mom

Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
Wonderful pictures. Both of your dogs are so cute. We have three dogs and have never managed to get a good picture of the three of them.
Debra & Emily
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
Wonderful photography. And Maximutt is truly handsome indeed.

What a nice little blog about your family! I love the portraits and posted a link to it on my facebook. I don't live in southern cali, but maybe someone does who will give Lisa a call. She did a great job of bringing your pets personalities out on film.
May 2001-Jan 21, 2010.....I'm a dog and I'm AWESOME!..... Always.
Thank you everyone for the very nice feedback. We also think Lisa did a really nice job. The photos she posted on her blog entry weren't even the best ones, either!! There were a whole lot more that were just unbelievable! And she was very patient with our pups, and knew just what to do to get the special looks they gave.
Caira Sue, thanks for posting on your Facebook. I hope some people from my area see your post and give her a call. She photographs kids too, but I think she enjoys photographing pets more!

Those pics are awesome! Too bad I don't live in Cali! I was just writing in my blog how difficult it is for me to get good pics of my tripawd, Toto. Your pictures (and your dogs, of course!) are just beautiful!

That's pretty funny!http://tripawds...../', '', '1');" src="https://tripawds.com/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif" alt="Laugh" /> Actually, my husband's shoes were new, so that explains his. I had wiped mine down a couple days before because she runs her studio out of her home, and I didn't want to show up with crummy looking shoes! That photo was actually supposed to be done barefoot, but she forgot to ask us to take our shoes off when we arrived; that was one of the last photos taken, and when we took them off we both had sock marks. So she said just put them back on and that would be fine. That, or our feel really smelled, I'm not sure whichhttp://tripawds...../', '', '1');" src="https://tripawds.com/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/smiley2.gif" alt="Winker" />
