On 9/13, my beautiful, brave, awesome Sadie bear celebrated her 7 month ampuversary!!!!!! She has taught me what it means to live. I want to thank every beautiful soul (human and canine-oh,heck even the feline family members) for being here for us through this journey. I honestly have no idea how I could have made this journey without you all. Help us celebrate by giving your babies, furkids, heros, buddies, best friends, a special treat in Sadie's honor so we can have a virtual pawty!!! Also, thank you to all the angels watching out for the rest of us, including Maggie and Kelly (who never knew Sadie, but I know would love her) and Sandy, who met her, but never got the chance to know her before she too was called to the rainbow bridge.
Sadie's mom
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Happy Ampuversary Sadie! Seven months is awesome, and you're looking beautiful. It is a journey made easier by the paths that cross here. Trouble is going to have some awesome green bean snacks. (I really shouldn't lead you all to believe that's all she gets! Even through her diet, she got a small last bite of our dinner each evening and she gets a small bite of treat when we come in from outside.)
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Happy 7 month ampuversary, Sadie! That is such cause for celebration! And we will join the virtual pawty with lots of extra treats here in your honor - cheese, ice cream (mom made some of our favorite yogurt and pb frozen treats!) and lots of naps! Woo hoo!! Thanks for giving us reason to smile today!
Hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Happy 7 month ampuversary Sadie! You and your mom have worked very hard to get to this point and it is only fitting that you take time to reflect and enjoy this wonderful accomplishment. We do not use the word Hero lightly when we describe these great warriors, but the willingness to fight so very hard is also a testiment to the wonderful life they enjoy. We will definately be celebrating vicariously with you on this great passage. Now don't forget Miss Cherry's Pawrty Checklist - Extra Hugs, Extra Play Time, Special Treats, and ICE CREAM.
Looking forward to many more ampuversary announcements for Sadie. Keep the spirits high.
