My tripawd Kaiserin was just awarded her Champion Trick Dog Title from Do More With Your Dog (the highest level there is). She got a certificate, ribbon and medal. All the tricks were performed on three legs (although some of the skills were taught to her in the past when she had 4 legs). I want to share this not only because I am very proud of my girl and like to show her off but to show how dogs on three legs can thrive, enjoy life, and accomplish great things! Just over a year ago when she was recovering from surgery, I thought she would never be the same again. I thought she would not be able to do much more than be a couch potato type of dog. But she instead amazes me every day.
I can't figure out how to post a photo here but the you tube link to her video submission is:
WOWWWW!!! BRAVO!!!! Oh my dog we saved this for our dinner entertainment and are so glad we waited to watch the whole movie. Kaiserin you ROCK!
Watching your brain work and get all the tricks was the best and cutest thing we've seen in a long time. I think we need to have a Kaiserin art auction for Tripawds Foundation , how about you 😉 She's a Paw-casso, get it?
YESSS!!!!!!
The time and love you all put into this just speaks volumes about what a great pack you are. I'm so very, very impressed. What an inspawration. Thank you for inviting us along for the ride!!!

Tri-pug Maggie survived a 4.5 year mast cell cancer battle only to be lost to oral melanoma.

That was so awesome! Brownie was never that obedient on four. Just too stubrand!
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

"March Saint"
Now she has finished all the trick titles, Kaiserin has decided she is going to spend more time on her art career (ok, so she didn't decide, I did LOL because now all my friends will get Kaiserin artwork for a Christmas gift). We would be happy to donate a Kaiserin painting to the tripawds foundation! I actually think I can make them look half decent by me picking the background colour and paint colours (then of course all the brush strokes are totally up to her). We will see what we can come up with!
And yes Karen, at first her "best friend" did not appreciate being whacked in the head LOL but he got used to it really fast when he realized he got a treat after! 😊
OMD OMD for our next auction we will take you up on that!
I think it would be so much fun if Kaiserin wanted to do online tutorials for dog painting. We could all learn from her!

That is a brilliant video showing a great range of tricks. I really like the Best Friend one - so sweet. The soccer is so much fun!!
These activities obviously keep brain activity up, boredom level down and is healthy for everyone involved..
Thanks for showing the possibilities.
Kerren and Tripawd Kitty Mona (only trick she has it to sit up like a meerkat showing she's hungry)
Oh wow that will be some auction! We didn't do one this year but will do one in the near future. I'll keep ya posted.
And you are GREAT with technology, that video was awesome! Made me wanna dance 😉

Brilliantly done Kaiserin I grinned ear to ear the whole way through...and am still grinning hours later!!!😁😁
I saw this on her.blog earlier and was in awe of everything she.AND YOU... have accomplished!!!. Cannot even begin to imagine the patience involved...the patience and the very, very, very special bond you two have!!
And I loved the "bloopers" being photo bombed by Kaiserin 's pal. Her pal did a brilliant trick of just sitting still while Kaiserin showed everybody who her friend is!!
To be able to do trick after trick in a row...to do hand signals...to take her toy back into the house....E V E R Y T H I N G she did had me saying an audible "WOW"!!
I love the idea of marketing her artwork! What you two have accomplished is truly a "work of art" on so many levels!
Often new members focus on how far a dog can go after becoming a tripawd or how fast a dog can go. You and Kaiserin remind everyone that, while dogs still can enjoy that (with some modifications), what they really want to do is be with their hoomans, keep their mind engaged and get lots of treats and praise inbetween!!!😎
Thanks so much for sharing this amazing video. It is such an honor to be able to celebrate Champion Kaiserin for the delightful dog she is!❤

.
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
The bloopers were the cherry topping on the masterpiece I smiled the whole time myself... not only is she smart, but she is so sweet too! As her tricks progressed I was totally glued to the video.. wow.. that chiquita is so smart!!! So is her mom, by the way, for learning how to show her to shine
You do amazing things with those pups!!
PS, by the last "who's your friend" was when I expected him to smack her upside the head... that was just too adorably sweet and funny
Hugs,
Jackie, Bo, Andy, Oscar, Phoebe, and the coolest feral tripawd kitty Huckleberry
