Hi ~ I'll be walking at the K9 Cancer Walk in Denver, CO this weekend ~ Sunday the 21st. I'll be walking in memory of my sweet baby Augie who gained his wings 7.17.2011. I was wondering if any fellow Colorado Tripawds would be there? I would love to meet you ~ this is such a great community, although I haven't made many posts, I log on all the time and am comforted by knowing you all can relate to the struggles we face with our furry kids with cancer or have lost to cancer.
Augs Mom (Charissa)
Hi Charissa,
We're so glad you are going to be there! I wish we could make it but we are in the San Juans this month and can't be there. I will let everypawdy on Facebook know that you'll be walking. Thank you so much, we love Morris. Augie is proud, he's definitely there in spirit. Drop by after it's over and let us know how the event went OK? Enjoy.

Hi Charissa,
Wish we could walk with you. We did the walk with Abby here in So Cal back in... I think it was February. It was a lot of fun.
MAF is a great organization that we've been supporting for a while now. We will be there with you in spirit and I'm sure Augie will be smiling down on the proceedings!
All the best,
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
