Hooray for Jack! Glad to hear that chemo business is all over. Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress!

Be sure to check the Tripawds Nutrition Blog for lots of healthy treatment options … specifically, review the Supplements page for resources and links to more information about K9 Immunity, Power Mushrooms, Artemisinin and many other recommendations. And check the Medications page for information about ongoing holistic treatments and Metronomic canine cancer therapy.

Congrats Jack!  I think you should probably get some type of burger (with cheese, of course) as one of your special treats!

As for other treatment options, we put Max on the metronomic protocol after he finished his carbo.  He made it a total of 10 months before the cancer returned.  His doctors feel the metronomics helped suppress the tumors, so maybe that's an option for you to think about.

Congrats again!

Thanks for your shout out to Em.  I do miss her so much but I am so grateful for the time we had with her.

Congratulations on 5 months!  I think you should celebrate with lots of good treats and the car ride.  How many rounds of chemo did Jack have?  On light of the new therory/research, If he had four I would wonder if you might want to go with six?

Anyway, have a great celebration.

Debra & Angel Emily

Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.

Yay, Jack! Happy Ampuversary!! Holly's gladly enjoying a treat (ok - 2 treats - one for your ampuversary and one to celebrate that you're done with chemo) in your honor as I type. 🙂 She sure is happy for you!

Our oncologist said we should consider metronomic therapy after Holly's chemo is done... you can read up on it on this site - Admin put the link in his response up above. It might be worth considering for Jack.

Awesome!!!!!

Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!
