I just wanted to share the video tribute I made of Chloe showing her life over the past 2 years as a tripawd.
It was originally intended for Chloe's 'cancer surviving thing', but the song "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger" cover by Glee Cast now applies to everything she and I have been through these past few months: the foxtail-in-the-mouth/inflammation debacle, my grandfather and my uncle passing away within 3 weeks of one another, family issues, roommate issues, and thesis issues. Life seemed to happen all at once for us and while it hasn't been easy, I do have to give myself credit for getting through it. Thank you to those who responded to my forum post regarding these matters, your support is always greatly appreciated.
In celebration of Chloe's milestone, I only ask that you call, hug, and tell loved ones that you love them. Life is too short.
-Nicole and Chloe
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Congratulations on 2 years! That's pawesome!! Great video.
You are a true Tripawd Warrior Princess, Chloe!
Treats all around to celebrate!
Jackie, Angel Abby & MBBunny Rita
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
HAPPY TWO YEARS CHLOE!! That is huge! You are an inspiration to Tripawds everywhere. Treats for the pack here and here's to many, many more ampuversaries to come!!
All the Best!

PS She is so dang cute, I just love watching her love for life!!!
Jack Russell born in 2001. Mast cell cancer found Dec 2009 and right rear amputation. Five rounds of chemo done before all treatment stopped. Living life to the fullest!! Read my story at http://rizzo.tripawds.com
Happy Ampuversary Chloe! You are so special and such an inspiration. Mom, it's been a tough time for you guys, but you are right, you will be stronger for it in the end. Give that beautiful girl a big hug! Nothing but the best from here on out!
Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

Yipeeee Chloe! Wow, I can't believe it's been two whole years already. I know you and your Mom have been through so much so it probably seems like forever to you, but boy time flies. I still have a hard time believing you are a girl "of a certain age" and older than a lot of pups here. You are so spunky!
Congratulations you pawesome girl, you and your Momma have both come so far on this journey (and yep, we give you lots of cred Nicole!). Thanks so much for sharing your ups and downs with us here, you inspire us continuously. Thanks for the great video too, what a pawesome look at the life of a Tripawd!
P.S. Was that a giant fish you were dragging up from the ocean?

I'm sure Chloe would have been stoked if it were a fish even though it was a branch of wood, she did like to 'shred' it when I wasn't shooing her from it (since I didn't want splinters in her mouth!).
Thanks everyone for the well wishes!!!! I certainly hope Chloe makes it to a third year in 2013!

Chuck & Rusty
Rusty is a Labradoodle who was diagnosed with level 3 Fibrosarcoma on January 16th, 2010 and had his left hind leg amputated on January 25th, 2010 five days before his 18 month birthday. Please see Rusty's blog @rusty.tripawds.com. He is putting up one heck of a fight against this terrible disease.
That is just the most awesome video. And what a perfect song! I was laughing and crying. Congratulations to Chloe. That is a wonderful milestone and you have given her a beautiful tribute.
Karen and Magnum
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end.
