Hi everyone, it's been a while. We just wanted to check in and share our great news that Mighty Atlas has reached his one year ampuversary. I have mixed feelings about posting as I just read all the loved ones we have lost recently. Sally, my heart is breaking for you. We will never forget how you and Hannah helped us through the most difficult decision Of our lives. Our family is eternally grateful to you.
We are so grateful our Mighty Atlas love bug is still with us and enjoying life. He is now an 8 year old Great Dane and has showed no signs of slowing down. He just got his bi-weekly acupuncture today so as normal he is zonked out afterwards and sleeps soundly all night and in a day or two will be bouncing around like a Spring. Here is a video of bad mommy disturbing his nap a few minutes ago. We have not bothered with X-rays in over 6 months as we just wanted to focus on living life and not doctors and hospitals, although Dr. W just spent 10 minutes listening to his chest, throat, gut, etc... With stethoscope and said everything sounds great, not rasps or gurgles in the lungs. But we do have a teeth cleaning and X-rays scheduled in a couple weeks when we return from vacation.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Hoppy ampuversary, Atlas! We just saw your handsome mug yesterday at our vet's office, and i wondered how younwere doing. They have the Tripawds calendar in the exam room, and there you were. So wonderful you are doing this well. Keep it up.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
