Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Holly, that's sooo pawsome!! I knew there was a reason mom gave me and my sister Athena rotisserie chicken today (yum). Enjoy your ice cream!
Sloppy kisses & belly rubs,
Sadie
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Hi Jolly Holly!
Happy 4 months ampuversary!! So pawesome!! We are definitely celebrating tonight with lots of treats and Frosty Paws....we've already started the pawty. In fact, Mackenzie's barking at me now to give her more treats in celebration.
Sending you back lots of golden hugs!
Kami, Mackenzie and Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Hoppy Ampuversary Holly! I was wondering how you were doing! 🙂 Sounds like you're doing great!
Yahoo! Chomp down that cheese!!
Tracy, Maggie's Mom
Maggie was amputated for soft tissue sarcoma 10-20-09
Maggie lost her battle with kidney disease on 8-24-13
Rooohooooooooooooooo!!! Hoppy Ampuversary Do they have goose flavored ice cream anywhere? Gosh Gerry is running low on treats, and I don't have any ice cream. We might have to honor Holly with a little bit of Wisconsin cheese. Now that's special. I very rarely let Gerry have any cheese. Big thanks from him to Holly for sure!
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
Videos and pics of Gerry's pawesomeness can be found at: http://gerry.tripawds.com
Hippity Hoppy Holly !
Comet is going to celebrate your good news with a peanut butter cookie, some peanuts and some potato chips. (That's daddy's doing, not mommy's) She may even share with Monkeybutt!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Way to go Holly !!
Wishing you many more ampuversaries !

"Going Dog" def: living every day in the moment
"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."

Holly,
We could not be more pleased that you are celebrating this 4 month milestone and nearing the end of the chemotherapy. Dad often says that the real improvement took-off when we finished the chemotherapy. I just remember that I no longer had the terrible taste and food started to again have an appeal. I am also glad that your Mom knows about my favorite way to celebrate. I still remember going to Baskin & Robbins for my own soft serve cone on my one year ampuversary. When Dad told the clerk that it was for his TriPawd companion and our celebration, she had to come out to the truck and watch the celebration. My Avatar was taken on the way over - see the happiness.
Back to the important things, we know that you will be feeling better once the chemotherapy is over, so your Mom better be prepared!!! Enjoy the cheese, the hugs, the extra playtime, and thanks for giving this community a reason to celebrate. Dad will definitely be toasting this great milestone and looks forward to many more. Hum . . . You will reach the half year just as they finish their June in Yellowstone. We will mark it on the calendar, but may have to wait until everyone gets back to post our congratulations.
