Hi all,
We're sorry we haven't been around much lately... but we still think about our tripawd friends all the time and hold each of you in our hearts. Mom won't let me on her 'puter much - she's been too busy and Zuzu hasn't figured out how to get it down from the counter where I can reach it while Mom's at work.
Tomorrow is my 21 month ampuversary! We are so excited! We started the celebration on Sunday with a pawty with our Chicago tripawd friends Tate, and Isabelle and Cadence... and Tate's sister Sam and of course Zuzu the monkeypoo dog. We were missing some of our good friends, but hope to see them soon - definitely before it gets cold. (Ginger and I have to discuss how Barney got away, and how to finish him off once and for all). The pawty has been continuing all week with home-made chicken and lots of cheese. And of course, plenty of naps! We need to get in some green beans, and maybe some peanut butter too! Oh! And ice cream - plenty of ice cream (Angel Cherry just whispered that in my ear). Also some nice walks and fun car rides! Life is good!
Anyway, mom said to be sure to tell you the vet took some z-rays or x-boys or something like that and he said there isn't any signs of cancer in me right now. They checked my hips and my chest, and then decided to do some blood stuff and pee stuff too. Mom had a wet face and was kissing me alot so I kissed her back and that made her wet face wetter. I was just trying to help!
Zuzu has been super good at helping me keep the yard clear of all squirrels and bunnies and even skunks! We've become a team, but don't let that fool you - I still think she is a monkey dog. But her size comes in handy sometimes. Comet still tells me not to let her fool me!
Anyway, I hope everypawdy is fine! And I'm sending a big "hey" out to all you new tripawds - it's a much better world on 3 legs than on 4 when one of the 4 hurts all the time.
Lots and lots of hugs, and plenty of Wheaten kisses,
Holly Jolly by Golly (and Zuzu and Susan)
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Wow - 21 months and clear x-boys! We'd party all week too!
Big kisses from Abby!
Jackie & Abby
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Oh, oh, oh!!!! We are so very, very excited over here in Cometland. It brings tears to our eyes to know Holly is doing so well!
Angel Comet is watching out for her BFF! I just know it in my heart.
We sure miss you!

Wow, 21 months, that's awesome!! Your story gives me more hope that my little PiperGirl could do just as well...congrats and doggie ice cream for everyone!
Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Jolly Holly! Happy Ampuversary. We've missed seeing you, and so happy to hear you are still rocking along. Isn't it great to get past the 20 mark?

Holly, I'm so happy I got to celebrate with you! We had so much fun! But mostly I was glad Zuzu was there to keep Sam out of my hair! So she's good for something even if she is a monkey butt and can't (or won't!) get the computer for you.
You actually stood still long enough for my dad to get a picture of us together:
Let's celebrate Month 22, too!
Your friend,
