take a glance on this thread at the "HIP HIP HOO RAAAAAAAY" posts. There are all sorts of like referenced on ways we can help. additionally, very kind word for all the different ways everyone does help.
I was tinking......I know scarey......... What if we made it real "simple-stupid" and as many of us who can, send in $10 a piece now! There are almost six thousand members....now I know that's a little lofty because I doubt very many will see this! But, we could spread the word...especially you computer savvy people with facebooks and twittering stuff.....and if FIVE HU DRED of us sent in TEN DOLLARS.....well, that has to help with a little bit of the costs those some buckets creeps caused. "they" must be the offspring of cancer!
When you go look at that thread, be very careful----if the avatar shows beta man in blue boots------he bites!! If the avatar shows betman looking like Snoopy and drinking a glass of wine---you can pet him, it's safe:-)
Happy Hannah is sending in the money she spends on ice cream for the next week....and she eats a lot of ice cream!!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I like the idea!

... help with a little bit of the costs
Thank you for spreading the word Hannah!
Even if 500 members sent in just five dollars, we'd be able to cover the recent unexpected expenses incurred while bringing balance back to this box. (Translation: Consulting services and hardware upgrades to regain control over the server load balance cost about $2500!)
We sincerely hope we won't have to re-establish annual fundraising campaigns to support the cost of maintaining this community. We make supporting this community, with many ways to help. And we greatly appreciate you helping us educate members about the work that goes on behind the scenes here.

Paw shucks, thank you for starting this discussion Sally (you realize you're not anonymous here right? I'm guessing you read the most recent Tripawds newsletter?
Website Technical Update
In June, we experienced various technical difficulties with the Tripawds network that resulted in slower performance and random but frequent website outages. We appreciate your patience while we worked hard to resolve these issues. Thanks to a superb technical support crew, the Tripawds community website infrastructure is humming right along once again. Unfortunately, this technical meltdown resulted in more than $2,000 in unexpected support fees as well as an additional $45 per month in website hosting expenses.
The generous support of our members has helped us pay our regular maintenance fees for the past couple years, but this unforeseen expense was a major blow to our overhead costs. If you find the Tripawds website helpful, please help us offset this unexpected bill by reviewing the various ways you can support this community! Tripawds is a user-supported community, and we would be especially grateful for any support you can provide at this time. Thank you!
Knowing the kind of vet bills that Tripawds families are coping with, we cringed at the thought of making this announcement. And we understand that not everyone has an extra couple of dollars to spend. We so appreciate how members all help in different ways, from posting religiously in blogs and forums to shopping through our Amazon blog to clicking the Paypal button. But this recent meltdown depleted our Tripawds savings account that exists specifically just for emergencies, and we would appreciate any help whatsoever in building it back up (because unfortunately, nasties like bots are still out there and server hosting fees continue to grow as we do). In the next few days we will make an announcement with exciting specifics about our future plans with Tripawds but for now thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this shout out.

This is was this site is all about.....helping each other......and now we have a way to help the tripawd site and that is an HONOR and a PRIVILEGE!
You have been here for us in the most unbelievable supportive ways possible....and ALWAYS with consistency, optimism, knowledge, humor and love...day in and day out....through the heart thrilling joys and the devastatingly heartbreaking sadness. Regardless of what's going on, you are always there for us. Everyone here can say, "Well, I think I'll take a break from the site for a few days" for personal reasons, or whatever. Not you, you are ere always with a helping hand and I am SURE there are days you just want a break from it all.....or maybe a little helping had reaching out your way. But you are here regardless!
It's time for s to give back in a way that is needed most right now.
FIVE or TEN DOLLARS apiece right now is something we can all figure out how to scrape it together.
And THANK YOU for letting us know the specifics that are needed! you know how good it feels to help someone else and put a smile on their face? Had you not let us know the situation, you would have deprived us of that great feeling of being able to help "someone"!! Now that would not have been very nice, now would it??

I shop on Amazon ALL THE TIME.. I love knowing that some of the sales I make can go to Tripawds. It's such an easy way to help out, even if affiliates don't make much money via Amazon. Every cent counts, right?
I've bookmarked the link to shop on Amazon via Tripawds on all my devices. I guess I will have to start shopping even more!
Barret was diagnosed with Hemangiopericytoma May 16, 2013. Front left leg/scapula/pectoral muscle was amputated on June 11, 2013 and we've never looked back. Follow our story on http://barret.t.....pawds.com/ and read my column on That Pet Blog

Count us in! Going to share as well and see what we can do about chipping away at this huge bill. Yep, I read the Tripawd Newsletter. Especially since it featured our beloved Atlas. (tee hee hee)
No amount of money could begin to express our gratitude for Tripawds. You have helped us in so many ways, on so many occasions and have never once been anything but unbelievably kind and compassionate for whatever it is we are going through. Some times this can be a sad website and I have to step back and work to keep myself in a good place and be the strong leader that Atlas needs me to be. But Jim and Rene, you guys never step away, you are hear 24/7 always ready to help the next person who lands in here overcome with fear and hurt. Y'all are some mighty fine folks!
You really are living an Eckhart Tolle life! Bravo!
Patricia & Mighty Atlas
PS...when I win the lottery I'm setting this place up for life as well as donating to cancer research in animals and starting a foundation to help people who cannot afford surgery for their beloved pet.
Patricia & Atlas, thank you. We are humbled by your kindness, and can't thank you enough. It's the love of the great people here and the Tripawd heroes who inspire us to make it the best place it can be. Thank you so much.
