Howdy all,
I'm finding it hard to post this today as so many of my friends in this community are grieving....
But, I know that these posts give us all hope so...
Happy, hoppy seven month ampuversary to my wonderful boy, Tucker.
Tuck and I just returned from a walk...well, actually it's a walk - rest - smell - pee - walk.....spring finally seems to be arriving here so Tuck was eager to go
Tuck and I will be celebrating his ampuversary and the lives of all his "buddies" who have recently crossed the bridge!
Much love and many hugs and licks,
Linda and Tucker
Way to go TUCKER!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!!! I know what you mean about sharing the good news but I've come to learn it's still so so important to give others hope!!!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Happy 7 months Tucker!!
Linda,
As someone who has lost their beloved dog to cancer, I'm here not only to give support, but to celebrate the lives of those babies who are still alive and fighting. I hope every one of them has a long and happy life! Please always post both the good!
Hugs,
Carol
Hoppy ampuversary, Tucker! Here's to many, many more. Tell your Mom not to forget the cake.
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Linda THANK YOU for sharing this and allowing us celebrate another milestone. Seven months already? WoW!!
Here's to lucky #7 Tucker, you are our hero!
Treats and cake for everyone to honor Tucker's milestone and the lives of our angel heroes. We love you all!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!

Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Happy, Happy 7 month ampuversary to Tucker Linda, I felt the same way about posting Lily's ampuversary 2 days ago, but everyone feels that we all need to see the good news also. I know that when I was first here I looked for all the positive news too. So thanks so much for sharing the good news about your handsome furbaby. Enjoy your day and CELEBRATE!!!!!
Sending hugs and ear scratchies your way,
Joan and Lily
Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Yay Tucker. Hoppy Ampuversary buddy. We love good news. Keep on kicking butt. Way to go. Love celebrating great news. Hmmm I think some ice cream for Tucker is in order (Sassy & Happy Hannah's orders by the way ) Can't upset our Tripawd Angels.

Woo-hoo! Happy Ampuverserary, Tucker and Linda!
Hugs, claps, and wags,
Deb and Lexie
Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
