Hi Jerry, thanks so much for thinking about me during this special time. My mom has been a bit busy at work and has not been able to log on and read her favorite site. She finally got a chance to sit down today and check the messages and what a surprise when she mentioned the happy ampuversary you sent my way. I am doing fantastic and feel great. I am still getting my special diet and all my supplements and Monday I go for my next chemo session. I am not sure if you received it but my Mom sent you a short video of me playing in the yard with my huge "tennis" ball. She wanted you to see that I am back to my old self. Let me tell you, to begin with I had a hard time playing with my ball and frisbee as I could not figure out, (1) what to do when the ball rolled under me, and (2) how to land when the frisbee came my way. But with patience, love and dedication from my pawrents I slowly figured it out and now I catch my frisbee like old days (except the throw is much lower than before) and I can maneuver the ball all across the yard and back with no problem. So, thanks again for all your support and for being such a good friend. Love you all......
P.S. It should be Charlie's happy ampuversary also......WAY TO GO CHARLIE....hope you are feeling well.
Kellie
We love you too Kellie! And thank you for your continued support and participation.
Just be sure to take it easy with the Frisbee playing. Moderation is key! My mom thinks all my running, playing and jumping might have had something to do with the partial ACL tear I've developed. Though my Doctor said it might just be old age.
Who Knows? But I have been rather confined lately, only going on leash walks per doctor's orders. I sure miss my Frisbee time. But my folks don't miss watching me collapse after catching it!
