Happy 21 month ampuversary Gayle! Hope you had a wonderful fun filled day filled with naps, eating cheese, napping, getting loved on napping. You deserve only the best!
Jo Ann and Angel Tasha
Tasha 8 years old, First cancer diagnosis 6/26/09, Last cancer diagnosis 9/26/09, Amputation 10/01/09, Loving our girl moment by moment.
Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….
So sorry we are late to the party, but we've been sleeping a lot. We all just want to say congratulations to you, Gayle, and to Charon for keeping you healthy and strong! You two are a team and you do that teamwork thing so well. A pair of beautiful women showing the rest of us how to be dignified, strong survivors! You knock our socks off (so we may need you to knit us some new ones)!
Much love from Dakota and Evelyn and Shari
From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/

Gayle,
Happy Hoppy 21 months!!!! I'm so happy for you and your sister! I really wanted a cheeseburger to celebrate, but mom said I have to go on something called a diet because I gained 3 pounds. She gave me a piece of chicken jerky, which was ok, but it sure wasn't a cheeseburger. I did take an extra nap in your honor! Keep up the good work...and the good naps!!!
Hugs and sloppy kisses,
Ranger (and mom)
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Chili Dawg crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 8/30/2011 & is now pain free. He was my heart dog, and I miss him every day.
The Queen agrees.... a nap is the best way to celebrate an ampuversary. This evening we napped together in front of the fire in your honor, Gayle. Congratulations, beautiful girl. We wish you many, many more ( naps AND ampuversaries).

Kami, Angel Mackenzie, Kobe and Scarlett
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Congrats to my ET friend. That is such terrific news. You are such an inspawiration to me and all of us here.
I think I will take an extra long nap this afternoon, just in your honor!!
Love, Ginger
P.S. Daddy told all his friends about you and your pawrents the other night when he went to a U of I basketball game!!
