Awwwh Mascha & Schlomster thanks for cheering on Mister Rusty and remembering Miss Lucy! You know we love you guys and are rooting for Schlomo to find a solution to his phantom limb pain. Whether those vets believe it or know what to call it, the pain is real. Have you decided on a dosage of tramadol and/or gabapentin to try? When do you start physical therapy? or have you already?
So glad we met even under these circumstances. Oh and Happy 2 week ampuversary to Schlomo! This is rough stuff bud but you two can do it!

We are very excited for you two!Â
We just got back from the clinic, different surgeon today and I really liked her. He is now on Gaba, Amantadine and Rimadyl. Tramadol doesn't do much for him apart from making him appear "stoned". Our first appointment is on Tuesday. I'll take a video of him swimming and walking and post it 🙂
Much love,Â

Mascha & Schlomster!
I was so happy to hear from you today. I'm glad that you got a vet that you like I really feel like that can make all the difference. I'm glad he has something other than tramadol. Meds can act so differently in different people's systems. I can't take sudafed, just one and I am bouncing off the walls and talking nonsense 90 mph. I can't wait to hear how his PT goes and will definitely be looking forward to the video. I know it is going to be crazy adorable. Wait, does he like the water? I really hope his new med regimen works for him.
