I thought it might be nice to have a place to recommend our favorite reads. I'm sure this is already somewhere on the site so I apologize for the redundancy in advance.
My wife bought me this book for my birthday. I really enjoyed it. It's a fast read with lots of visual which I really need. It's a great book for anyone who appreciates nature but especially dog and cat lovers!
The title of the book is "Guardians of Being" by Eckhart Tolle and art by Patrick McDonnell.
Sorry if this is outside the scope of this site.

I posted once I hated Windows 7 when I had to switch from a computer crash and no one got on to me! (hehehehe)
I found a sweet little book this Christmas called Pets' Letters To God.
Thanks for the posting!
Methinks Fortis is a ham!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Everyone should read Merle's Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog. I hate dog books (they're always so sad and depressing) but my boss "suggested" I read this one, and I actually really, really liked it! It's about the human-dog relationship and it also talks a lot about how dogs evolved from wolves. Very entertaining and thought-provoking

Great Idea! Thanks for starting this topic.
Be sure to check the Tripawds Amazon Selections blog for more recommended reading an book reviews – including our review of Guardians of Being, and other Mutts Favorites. And don't miss our video interview with Patrick McDonnell in Jerry's blog too!
Anyone ever shopping for books on Amazon should please consider starting their search here to help support out continuing efforts to maintain the Tripawds community.
One of the most popular – and certainly most helpful – books here at Tripawds has been Without Regret, an inspiring guide for new canine amputees and their people who may question the difficult decisions they made on their pup's behalf. Read our complete Without Regret book review here.
Finally, we gladly welcome book reviews for publication. Got a few words to say about your favorite reads? Send us your review and we'll share it with the Tripawds community!

Hey Fortis, your Mom and Dad have exquisite taste! We love this book too! In fact, I got to meet Patrick McDonnell last summer when we were in Denver. Yes, that's me squirming on the ground. I was so excited I couldn't contain myself!
Patrick is the coolest ever. My Dad interviewed him and posted in the Tripawds News Blog, back before we had our Amazon blog up. Here's the clip:
