Bust out those treats Tripawds and help me celebrate!!
Yesterday marked 18 months since I started my new life as a Tripawd. I spent the morning at "Hounds for Hope." A dog walk to help raise money for Relay for Life. I thought it was perfect - being that I am a cancer survivor. It was a small turnout cause it was very cold and windy but I led the way - hopping around the courthouse square. I might even be in the newspaper.
And then we went home and followed Gayle's ever perfect advice - a medicinal nap.
I finished the day with french fries for dinner.
A pawfect way to spend my big day.
Golden love to all,
Ginger
geesh, we're declaring this 'ginger week' in et. we'll have extra cheese and ice cream to celebrate you major accomplishment. 18 months is wonderful!!!!! if only the illini could have respected your accomplishment and beat the buckeyes, but ....we digress. enjoy your ampuversary - we definitely want to see the picture from the paper!!!! all hail the chief!
charon & gayle (and the et illini contingency)
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.

Kisses to Ginger from Abby and tummy rubs from me,
Jackie, Abby's mom
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Bravo! Bravo! Ginger, 18 months is remarkable, what a fantastic way to celebrate. Thanks for being here and sharing your great news with us, we're celebrating right along with you!!!

We want pictures! But how can a newspaper not put your beautiful face in it? And if they don't, that explains why they are a dying business!
Super Happy Ampuversary Ginger!!!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Happy ampuversary Ginger!!
Way to show those folks that a little bad weather can't stop a tripawd warrior from hopping for Hounds for Hope.
The pugs are having their pre- going to bed evening medicinal nap right now otherwise there would be a few extra treats. Can you hear that stereo snoring???
