Hi all,
Elly Bea has passed several milestones in the past few weeks and I have just been too busy to share each one, so we are doing a bundle approach
Dec 29th first birthday
Jan 5th 5 month ampuversary
Jan 17th 3 month adoptaversary
For her birthday she got a 'Yap Cap', one of those 'what was I thinking' toys. It is a bag and a bottle top squeaker, you supply the old plastic water bottle. Even when the bottle is crushed there is still enough air to make it squeak. It never stops squeaking....
We play with it every day (did I mention it never stops squeaking?). This game is part of her core workout.
In celebration of all the milestones (but mostly because Sally asked for one) here is a quick video of Elly and the Yap Cap. Be sure your volume is turned up.

OMG... I love her! Where did you get her pretty collar? I really like it!
And BTW - we are NEVER getting one of those toys in my house! Jasper found one of Shelby's old squeaky toys that is a rubber toy that squeaks and she loves it. She won't 'kill it' (or can't) and I can't take it away since she is laser focused on finding that toy. I had it hidden but our cleaning lady pulled it out while dusting ... I should donate it to the goodwill but it was Shelby's ....
But seriously ... Elly looks amazing! Happy Birthday, Ampuversary, Adopetversary .... all of them!
Hugs,
alison with spirit shelby in her heart (and little jasper too)

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
OH my DOG she is so funny! Hoppy Birthday Elly, here's to a zillion more!!
You're right Karen, what WERE you thinking? But OK, it does look like she's getting a great workout.
Thank dog the squeaking did nothing for Wyatt Ray or I'd be tempted to get him one.

Thanks all, she certainly brings tons of smiles!
Where did you get her pretty collar? I really like it!
Thanks Alison, I actually made her collar. It is made out of two colors and two sizes of para-cord.
it does look like she's getting a great workout.
At first it was just funny but the more I watched her I realized how hard she was working and not putting any (sometimes a little) stress on her one back leg.
Hope her & Obie are getting along pretty well too
Well... last week it looked like Obie was engaging with her- almost playing. She licks his face a lot, and really tries to play with him. I don't know if they will ever play, but they are getting along.
Lots more video to share, when I have time.
