It was 2 weeks ago today that Domino had his surgery! I can't believe the difference it has made for him. Before surgery he was very shy, barely wagged his tail, and would never stand up to walk. He would scoot his damaged leg around on the floor and "army crawl" across the floor. Since his surgery he has come out of his shell. His tail seems to never stop wagging and he is happy and running around like crazy! He loves to play and get belly rubs. His attitude is just amazing!
His staples came out last Thursday and his incision site is looking very good. His hair is finally growing back too. He goes back to the vet this Friday to get neutered (his surgeon didn't want to do them at the same time). And we're signing up for basic obedience classes that start in mid June!
All in all life is great for Domino and I. He's turning out to be an amazing dog and a great best friend! Thanks so much for everyone's help and support!

Domino had his left front leg amputate on May 13th 2014 after being hit by a car. He's now living a happy healthy life on three legs :)
Awwww YAY! You handsome boy Domino, look at how great you're doing! What a fantastic twist of fate to be adopted by such a great Mom and an amazing support team. You have great things in store kiddo, it's already begun!

What a difference! That bum leg must have been very painful. Now on to a happy, healthy life!
And, he is rocking that harness!
