Hello Everybody,

I just got the DNA test results back on my ugly monkeybutt, Rocket!  (Comet's hasn't come back yet.)

So, anyone want to guess what he is?

First – he's not a hybrid which I thought he was – he's just a mutt.  (neither parent was full blooded)

He's got 37-74% of one breed, 20-36% of another, 10-19% of another and less than 10% of another.

Here's his pic:

"just a mutt"?

Mutts rule!

Ok, so we are seeing Terrier, Poodle, Lab and maybe Collie?

Over 25" tall? And here I thought this was another member of the Maggie Pug Club. I suppose that eye could be attached to just about anything, although it doesn't really look like a pug now that I think about it. The name and resemblance of photos fooled me.

Hint #3 - 21 lbs.

Sorry about the tail shot - that's a light pink stuffed animal in the background that has crummy looking hair like his!  His tail curls upward and is narrow.

I'd say 100% cute!  I have no idea what the mix is but if you could bottle it you could be rich!

No terrier?? really? Ok... some golden, and other stuff. I guess I just plain don't know! I was going to guess wheaten terrier, since we're a little biased... ha ha ha. Whatever Rocket is, Holly thinks he'd be fun to play with!

And the answer.........our Monkeybutt is:

1) Schnauzer
2) Beagle
3) Dachshund ??

4) Great Pyrenees ??? (I really doubt that!)

I honestly thought Cairne or Wheaton terrier and Poodle.  But I have googled white schnauzer mix and his does look like it.  He's cute but gosh he's annoying!  Just ask Comet!
