Hi everypawdy! This announcement is 7 days early, but as we will be vacationing at the lake when the great day arrives I am going to post it early and let the celebration begin! I just finished reading about Brandys 1 year ampuversary and I can really feel I think the same things that her pawrents feel... I can still so vividly remember holding my breath wondering 1 month would ever arrive.. and then it did.. I held my breath the whole time - especially given Coopers infection and the resulting necrosis of his incision area, I saw things that I never would expect to see on a living animal and sure wondered if he would survive..then 3 months , then the magical half year! And now it will be 7 months and we have had scares - even another recent one, Cooper started Duralactin a week ago tomorrow and progressively through the first week he has lost his appetite , gradually reverted back to walking even less and more poorly than ever, well old Cooper is lactose intolerant, we took him off the Duralactin and he is now back on previcox until we get home next week ( the vet was on vacation when I called ) I have asked about rimadyl or a generic of it. Cooper rebounded after his first two doses of previcox and his loose stools and loss of appetite are all but gone. Anyway... here at Coops pack we wish our old boy the hoppiest of 7 month ampuversaries... and I feel stronger and stronger that Cooper will continue to fight on and before I know it I will be posting his 1 year ampuversary. Thanks to all of you for all the support and friendship! Sorry for posting early but given the last 3 weeks and the content of them I feel this 7 month ampuversary is a huge milestone and not to be missed because we are out of town! Thanks again!
And Shanna - I sure hope that this 26th you will celebrate with us and our old darling Cooper - and you will share a smile with us!

I think a 7 day celebration, 7 days early, for the 7th ampuversary is TOTALLY appropriate! I'm sure Cooper will enjoy a romp at the lake.
I will faithfully celebrate for Cooper. He's my reason to continue to celebrate that special day. There will be a smile for Cooper and and all our other brave heros.

Wow Coop- you get a vacation at the lake for your 7th ampuversary.... can't wait to see what you get for #8!!
The pug snacks from now until the 26th will be in Cooper's honor!!
No, I don't mean that we eat snacks made from pugs, I mean the snacks I give the pugs...although they are pretty plump....no, no- there will not be pug snacks. Hummm, I wonder how many pugs it would take to fill up Cooper... oh no, did I say that out loud?

charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
It's marked on my Cooper Calendar! We'll be ready!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Congratulations Cooper! I hope you have a blast at the lake. I went on vacation with Mom about a month ago and boy did we have fun! Can't wait to hear about your adventures. "pug snacks" and "pug's snacks" ...It's amazing what a little apostrophe can do! (ok, that was Mom talking because I really have no idea what an apostrophe is) However, I do know what a pug is and what a snack is and......ok, now I'm confused, am I supposed to play or eat?
Ranger
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.
