Today is Cocoa's two week ampuversary! We celebrated by getting her stitches out and ditching that stupid collar! Yay!
It's like she's seeing "home" for the first time. Seeing things in a new light. Being able to get super close. It's great!
Gigi, on the other hand, is not so sure who this "new" dog is. We've taken a step back there, but I think their "relationship" still looks promising.
Her kuranda bed came tonight. She was trying to get on it before I could even get it put together. I wish it was a scocshe larger, but I think she'll be ok on it. I chose this particular size because it will fit in her crate.
I'm off to do some searching for supplement tips and exercise guidance (now that she can leave the house!).

Cocoa is going to be showing you all how it is done! Without that collar, she will likely be a whole new dog. Imagine the shame of having to wear that thing! Glad she's recouping well, and hope you are able to get some rest.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Congratulations on starting to find your normal! I still think you are an angel (along with the vet), and I'm sure Gigi will come along. Cocoa will feel so much better out of the collar, I'm sure. Keep on truckin', Cocoa!
Shari and Dakota
From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

That's terrific news!! YAY! Cocoa!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
