It was great fun but Wednesday’s birthday, Thursday’s one year ampuversary, and Friday’s two primary veterinary care provider’s party really tired me out. I think that I should name Friday’s celebration as a “Get Out Of Jail” anniversary because it was a year since Mom and Dad brought me home following surgery. They bailed me out of jail. In the case of my oncologist and surgery staff (one facility), this was the first time that I had seen them since January, but we see our local vet regularly. All were surprised when we showed up with a sheet cake but I am sure all enjoyed! At least one ride each day, a trim session on the grooming table, lots of hugs, lots of treats, special foods, special toys, and a new TriPawd sweater. Can a girl ever have too many sweaters? We even went to Baskin and Robbins for a soft serve ice cream cone. Dad spooned it out into a dish for me so that I did not make what he would call a mess. Mom was in charge of photos so that means tons of photos. Dad has posted a page detailing the activities, posting photos, and acknowledgements. There is a special paragraph to this TriPawd community. Please visit the Cherry’s Celebration Page.
Many times during each of these three days we paused for a quiet moment to give thanks, to ask Him to watch over our friends who, like me, are still on this journey, and hold very tightly all our friends who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to wait the day of joyous reunion when they will never be parted again.

PS: Dad also updated my Avatar - what ever that is.
Cherry,
It looks like you had three fun filled days. I am so glad that you were able to celebrate in such high style!

Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets!
Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!
Wow, you guys sure know how to party and show a girl a good time.
All the pictures are great. I don't let Maggie have ice cream because, well she sleeps with me. But I guess I will have to get her some on her next birthday to uphold the tripawd standards.
I hope none of our vets see this either- I only send them cards!!
Congrats on the milestone, and good to hear Cherry is feeling a little better.
Karen and the pug girls.
Cherry, your website brought tears to our eyes, what beautiful celebrations you had! Wow! Two cakes and ice cream, your pawrents sure treat you like the princess you are.
Thank you for the kind words about Tripawds, you are too kind. But really, we believe it is you and your Dad and all the other wonderful pawrents and Tripawds here who make it the special place that it is. Your stories, your courage, all that you find time to share despite your busy lives, makes this place the loving community it is. So we say "Thanks!!!" right back at ya!
Congratulations beautiful girl, may you have many, many more celebrations.
