Wow! What timing. Just as we were getting ready to publish today's Tripawds Nutrition blog post written by Barret's Mom Heather, we hopped over to her blog and look what we found!
"Becoming a Tripawd: The Truth About Leg Amputation in Dogs"
Kudos to Heather for writing a fantastic article about life on three legs that's sure to help many. Yay!

I am always looking for follow up my blogs.. any MYTHS that I missed that I should write about?
Thanks for reading
Heather (and Barret)

Hmmm...I think the myth that cancer is a death sentence is a good one to approach. Cancer is not automatically a death sentence and maybe something about how people can stay calm during the initial diagnosis. I know that's a very big topic! I'll try to think of something less daunting.

Hey Rene, Thanks for the suggestions!! I like the idea that cancer isn't a death sentence. Far too many people assume the worst once they hear "Cancer" from the vet.
I did initially write a cancer post "Dog Cancer: What to do when your dog has cancer" but I didn't cover that angle at all. What an oversight!
On the docket I have an additional nutrition blog post about the links between poor diet and cancer (if any.. more research needs to be done) and an article about the benefits of massage. Barret has yet to be receptive to massage again so I've been waiting on that one for some first hand experience.
Sending my love to everyone
