I share my wish for all of you, my new friends, to find peace. As a group we share good times, but almost always have pain and sorrow. I need for you to know how much it means for you to be here for me, to have folks who truly understand, to not have to explain they aren't just dogs.
As we each face a new year, may you find the strength you need to continue your journey.
Love and hugs to you all.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Let me make this crystal clear, Shanna & Trouble, I could not have said it any better now matter how long I attempted to find the words. No one said that this journey was going to be easy. If you wanted easy, you should have tried a marathon. My wife Emily had done a few and would tell you that they are cake-walks compared to this journey. She would also tell you that given the alternative, this journey is one of the most rewarding possible. Words will never fully express my gratutude to this community for being there for every one on similar journeys.

PS: Happy 13th month ampuversary on Saturday Trouble. Keep on rolling man.
A very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all from Cemil and his subjects.
Cemil and mom Mary, Mujde and Radzi….appreciating and enjoying Today
Merry Christmas everyone. I'm not much of a forum contributor, but I'm sure glad you folks are out here.
Brandy is too as she gets ready to share her 12th Christmas and turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy with her family. She is doing fantastic and if not for the "bobby" run, I'd never notice she didn't have that extra leg.
We have a new addition, a former Rotti rescue (neutered male) who is being bodyguard to my Chloe and Brandy and definitely my hubby's dog.
Well said - There's no such thing as JUST a dog, not in our world...
Gerry Christmas, everyone! 😀
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
Videos and pics of Gerry's pawesomeness can be found at: http://gerry.tripawds.com

Storm and Koda:)
Shanna & Trouble you share my sentiments exactly. JUST a "DOG" NEVER…..
I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year on their journeys.
