Hopefully this works! I haven't successfully posted any pics or vids on here yet. But here goes!
I wanted to make a little something for the folks who are just in weeks 1-2 post surgery right now and are in the 'worry' stage. I was there only a few weeks ago. Our dogs are truly resilient and amazing and bounce back as if life has always been this way. Chance has been an inspiration to me with how he has handled the operation and life as a new tripawd. And his goofy antics and silly smile remind me to just enjoy every moment with him. My dogs have been my greatest teachers.
WOW!!!! This is just superb. Chanceypants the film star! What a fabulous film, and such a lovely thing to do to reassure new Tripawd pawrents. He looks so happy, comfortable and entirely at ease and in a beautiful environment too. This made me well up, actually. What an amazing journey you've made in just a few short weeks.
Congratulations Mr Chanceypants on your world premiere screening!
Big hug,

Ruby, Staffy, born June 2022, became a Tripawd, November 2023, adopted January 2024.
Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Elsie Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...
Good stuff!
While I will probably forever question some of my treatment and pawrenting choices while with this awful cancer crap, one thing I will never doubt was the choice to amputate. It was 100% the best thing. This video shows that better than any words.
Peace,
Jenifer & Milo
It is always great to show people how far they come! Those first couple of weeks of recovery are such a roller coaster of emotions, most just feel that they're never going to get through it. Great video and I'm glad that Chance is doing so well

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
