The picture I'm posting here in no way does them justice. I hope you were able to see the 1 that elizabeth did in the slideshow. We just didn't have a proper place to hang them. I can do sure you we felt the presents up every single 1 of our heroes who have transition dover to the other side of life. The least really had a sacredness about it and we treated with the reference and respect that you are heroes deserves.
Happy Hannah and Jake are now side by side on the tribute leash. And their spirits, along with all the others were blowing in the breeze of the Tibetan Flags.
Karen, it's an honor to have been a guardian of this lovely tribute you created for a few days. Ireally does have an energy of love and inspiration surrounding each ribbon so carefully and lovingly placed. Thank you.
From my heart
Sally and Happy Hannah.
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

awesome Job Sally. The tribute leash is an awesome thing. So everyone knows you don't have to have a Tripawd on the bridge to put one on there.
Here is the link about the Tribute leash. It does tell you how to send a Ribbon for the leash and what the requirements for the size etc. 🙂 I did Sassy's before she crossed the bridge.

Thank you so much for your post Michelle. Even though I knew you didn't have to go to the bridge to do the leash, somewhere M it got lost in my memory bank and we just did the the ones who crossed. KIM did one for a greyhound friend M of hers.
YES, so please look at Michelle ' link and do your ribbons!
Thanks again SASSY!,

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Aww thanks for sharing that pic Sally, and posting info about the leash, Michelle.
It's such an emotional thing to hold that leash and see it in person. I hope everyone participates and adds their furbaby's touch to this ongoing tribute.
Sally can you email me the original version of that pic? Thanks!

Beautiful. Simply beautiful! Can we still send ribbons? I want to send one for my Shelby Lynne! (aka Love of my Life).
Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Yes Alison. You can send tribute ribbons anytime. Click that link in my reply and it gives the information there
Anyone else wanting to contribute can your pup or kitty does not have to be on the Rainbow Bridge. I think we are still waiting for our first kitty to submit theirs unless someone has recently.

The Leash belongs to this community, I am the current caretaker. It is meant to be a living, ongoing tribute to all our pack members, tripawd, quadpawd, dogs and cats, on the journey or across the bridge (STILL looking for the first kitty ribbon).
Thanks Michelle for posting the link. Here is a Forum Post I did earlier this month explaining the origins of the Leash. I plan on borrowing your picture and doing an update to the post, if you don't mind Elizabeth.

This is wonderful, and so very touching....I am glad Alison asked if we can still send in a ribbon, I was wondering the same thing myself when I first read about this Tribute Leash. I would love for my Polly to be a part of this loving leash, representing all of our special and most beloved fur babies. Thanks to all for posting the info regarding this and the for beautiful pic posted here.
Love,
Bonnie & Angel Polly
