She's kicked bone cancer's butt now for over 28 months, hops around on 3 legs, and is totally blind in both eyes from glaucoma. But my 132-lb. big girl Nova is the happiest girl ever! If only we all had such pawsitive attitudes, huh?
Here's a picture I snapped of Nova taken when I picked her up from her eye surgery a few weeks ago. Â Have you ever seen a human so happy after surgery???
Greetings from the Queen (Nova) and the Queen Mum (Sue)
Dane Mom Sue at nova.tripawds.com and Mom to Beautiful Great Dane Queen Nova, a Blind Tripawd, who kicked cancer's butt from 11/08-03/13. The Queen is Spirit Nova now, but her legacy lives on here at Tripawds!
Dagnabbit, why doesn't the image appear? Â I even uploaded it to my Tripawds blog first, as it wouldn't let me link it from Facebook.
ARGH.

...can't get rid of the error message.
The tag for the Facebook image was still in the code (visible in HTML view), gone now.
Thanks for fixing nova's pic – wouldn't want to miss that beautiful smile!

Happy Ampuversary to our Queen and the Queen Mum! I cannot believe how well she has done, and am so thankful she is now free of the pain from glaucoma. They are only going to get better from here on.
I'm so very happy for you guys.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Good news! SO GLAD TO HEAR!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Hooray for the queen! I think Chloe is losing her vision...her eyes are getting a bit cloudy looking. But she can hear extremely well! Glad to know your Nova does well without vision, I hope Chloe will be able to do the same!

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Big pretty hoppy girl! Look at that smile 🙂
Bright eyes (yes, even if you are blind!) and a long waggy tongue...the sign of a hoppy dog, for sure. We're so glad everything worked out with the surgery. You are simply amazing.
Hail to the Queen! Hail to the Queen!
