I just wanted to say that I watched Sammy after work yesterday running, wagging, dog laughing and having a great time in the unexpected evening Washington sunshine. It made my heart squeeze, brought tears to my eyes and made me love him more than I ever knew I could.
What a big, beautiful, wonderful boy he is.
Way to go Sammy for two wonderful months 🙂

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
Happy Ampuversary to your Sammy!!! We will be sure to include a celebration for Sammy during Chloe's tripawd weekend celebration! Glad to hear he is running, playing and doing well in general!!

P.S. Chloe says "Hoppy Howloween!"
Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
Happy ampuversary, Sammy. You've got mom wrapped around that one paw! I know how you felt, it is just so wonderful to see then act like a dog again. It's all we hoped for when we made the decision to let them live pain free.
Play bows to both of you for a great job!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

I can't believe it's only been two months (easy for me to say, eh?). He just is so saucy and energetic it is incredible that he is still new to this.
Keep on running and wagging and rolling, Sammy. That makes us all happy.
Lincoln says hi and happy two months!!

Wow - I'm with Lincoln's mom - I can't believe that it's only been 2 months! Sammy seems to be doing so great and we're so happy that we get to celebrate this very special day with you! It's so wonderful and we can all totally relate to the tears of joy and your heart just pumping with love when you reach these kind of milestones. And this is a big one cause you're through the worst now - it only gets better from here.
We will be having lots of treats in your honor. Whoo hoo Smilin' Sammy - happy 2 month ampuversary!!
Kami (Mackenzie & Kobe's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Dear Sammy my friend,

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Thanks so much everyone! I know what you mean about the time. It feels like it has been a long time. It feels like one of those movie moments where everything is in slow motion, you hear the HUGE sound of a heart beat in your ear, S L O W L Y, beating so loud.
I am suprised though that it hasn't been longer. So many freak outs, so little time

Happy anniversary, we love a good celebration. Amazing how much you can pack into a couple months. I know that feeing of seeing our buddies feeling good again. I remember the first time Gus climbed up on the couch to sit on my lap after his surgery, probably 3 weeks post, it was worth every penny and lost minute of sleep, then to watch him climb back into the mow and start harrassing cattle again, it's an unbelievable feeling, , so glad you are getting to enjoy Sammy again, Big Paws up, Spirit Gus and Dan
My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010
