Oh Kermie! Are you tryin' to tell your Momma somethin? Like maybe all that junk food tastes a lot better than her home cookin' made with love? ;)   You're not the first dog to hurt his Momma's feelings by choosing Alpo over tasty home cooked meals!

Kristine you are absolutely right; it doesn't matter what they eat sometimes as long as they eat. Just ask Sampson's Mom!

I'm just glad he's eating and things are better now. What a great Mom you are K!

Just had to throw this in here because I thought it was so funny with his ear all twisted up.  This is the look I got this morning when I said, "C'mon Kerm, time to get up!"

He's actually having a bit of a tough week because he was feeling so good over the weekend he played too hard with his sister & fell down the back steps off the deck onto the brick patio- flat on his back.  Didn't bother him AT ALL at the time but he's still pretty sore now!

BUT he's happily eating his Eukanuba kibble & canned Alpo, still playing tug, and still tying to eat the UPS guy every time the doorbell rings, so I guess we're good. laughing

Chemo & echocardiogram next week- only 2 left to go!! smileysmileysmileyclap

edit: Correction.  He WAS eating & playing. Tonight he's sulking & sleeping, doesn't want food or water.  Hopefully just a blip but DAMN it's so hard when you think any little injury or anomaly could be something catastrophic. way-confused Looks like tomorrow's rehab will be limited to e-stim pain treatment. sad

Kermie, get your rest you crazy dog. What a spill you took there mister!  I know that when we're feeling lousy food is often the last thing we want, but you're scarin your Momma and us and that ain't good.

Enjoy tomorrow's rehab session, you're such a lucky pup to get such wonderful care.

Keep us posted Kristine, we're thinking of you all.
