Hello to all,
We’re new to the site, I am a 2+/- year old female Bull Terrier - Woozy. I’m a post op tripawd that had my front right leg amputated after I arrived at the shelter, I had nerve damage and was not able to put weight on my leg because it hurt (after a encounter with a automobile) so they amputated. I’m doing really swell. I’m serval months post op, incision has healed, no infections and now no pain. I’m full of life, joy and as BT’s often are, I love to clown around. I was able to meet my new pack and spend a some quality time with them but wasn’t able to go home yet as Craig was going to be traveling out of state and his bride (oh she rubbed my belly really good) is a nurse working 7p to 7a, so we decided to give Woozy the best shot transitioning into my new home we’d wait till Craig was done with his travels for this year. I ca hardly contain myself, two weeks seems so long!
Ok, I just wanted to introduce myself to the family here on TRIPAWDS and express my thanks for the site, all of the information and the opportunity to share my new journey and learn from everyone else.
Thanks, Woozy (along with the rest of my pack - Craig and Lee Anne)
Woozy!
Woozy you crack me up! I love your name and I love that you decided to join us, thank you! We are excited about following along with your adventures, especially because we don't see too many Bull Terriers around here. I hope you'll consider starting a Tripawds blog so we can get to know you better!
Meanwhile do let your people know about our Tripawds Rehabilitation Therapy Reimbursement Grant. Even though you are doing great now, which is pawesome, a therapist can show your momma the best ways to keep you strong and injury free as you grow. We are so confident therapy is a good thing for all new Tripawds, that the Tripawds Foundation may pay for your first rehab visit ! Seriously it's a great thing, please take advantage of the program OK?
Thanks again for joining and welcome!

Woozy you are absolutely adorable!
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!
