I'm so sorry about the loss of Federico. He sure was blessed to live out his life in a home where he was well understood and loved.
That little Bertie is figuring things out in his time and obviously absorbing all the love and giving back. It can take awhile with cats. I had one who I couldn't touch for a year (my other cat found him) and then he became so cuddly he would sleep on my head. I felt like Daniel Boone.
Scratches for Bertie and hugs for you,
Kerren and Tripawd Kitty Mona
Awww, bless you. So sorry for your loss of Federico. Holding you close to my heart.
Love, love, love Bertie! What a cutie!!

You are such wonderful people, I am really moved by what you have done with both your furry babies.
The world is a much better place because of you and others like you
