I truly am so sorry that you and Kona are going through this! For sure contact me with any questions or options. I found that personality was a big part of our decision. Charlie went down hill so quickly and couldn't handle the necessary bed rest otherwise we would have continued. He was so miserable after two days of not being able to do anything on his own, there was no way we could have continued the 4-8 weeks (depending on non-surgical or surgical options).
I pray that Kona responds to the medication and responds well to bed rest.
