At the bottom it says contact!! I bet that works! I hit the contact and that Is the email with whom we worked with.
Just me but I would try again, just see. I don't remember how long it took them to get back to me but it was not long, day or two at the most.
Hope that helps!
P.S. I know it says hensaver I should of stated that earlier. Same company makes the booties as your know;)
If you want to email them again I would use that one or call.
Guess who's back?
I am so bad at keeping you guys updated.
Anyway. I did hear back from CrazyK farm about the bootie. Unfortunately they no longer do custom ones due to how difficult it is to get the right measurements--which I can certainly understand, but kind of a bummer. 🙁
The GOOD news is that, although the bumblefoot has not gone away, it has gone into what I call "callus mode." It's gone hard and is not growing. He might have it for the rest of his life, but as long as it's behaving more like a callus and doesn't swell or get tight and inflamed, it shouldn't hamper his hopping. We'll have to be careful to keep him in otherwise good health, though, so the staph infection doesn't become a problem.
His nails are looking a bit long, also on his stump:
Yeah, we're probably going to have to trim those.
Also, check out this spur!
Pretty pointy. It's about the size of Mo's. I'm relieved there's not one on his stumpy foot--that could cause problems sitting down.
In terms of quality of life, he's doing well. At eight months old now, he's not a baby. He crows regularly (not as much as my other boys, but still). He's not super social, but he never gets picked on. Mo and he are still best buddies, although lately Mo has been going on a lot of dates. (I'm not kidding, they pair off and go forage in a secluded corner. Very romantic.) He's not the youngest now either--we had some babies born in July. (Mo's a dad!)
Uno has also been attempting to flirt, though he's mostly met with polite refusals. He's tried to mount a couple hens and usually slides right off. I'm encouraged by his vivacity. But mostly he seems content, so that's good.
He eats out of my mother's hand and comes running when he sees anyone. Like most chickens, he doesn't stand still for pictures very well, but he's a great selfie partner.
So that's the news.
UNO!!!! You are such a handsome Casanova!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
And CONGRATULATIONS on being an "Uncle"! Way to go MO! We MUST have pictures of the "family"! 🙂
Glad the bum foot is under control. I attribute it to all the good care Uno has gotten from you! 🙂
The selfie of you and UNO is THE CUTEST THING EVVVVVER!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Hands down....THE BEST SELFIE EVER!!! 🙂 🙂

Bad? Are you kidding? This is GREAT! Uno is so remarkably handsome and photogenic, and I totally love that selfie of you two 🙂
Bummer about the boot but so happy that his foot is staying healthy. Keep up the great work!
That's adorable about his flirtatious advances. Uno the Ladies' Man (well, kind of). I'll bet by the time he's a year old those hens will all want to be his #1 Gal.
We love you Uno!
