Sounds like a pretty smooth recovery thus far! Good luck with Chemo!
Heather & Barret
Barret was diagnosed with Hemangiopericytoma May 16, 2013. Front left leg/scapula/pectoral muscle was amputated on June 11, 2013 and we've never looked back. Follow our story on http://barret.t.....pawds.com/ and read my column on That Pet Blog
Toby you are SO handsome! I love the last one of you going AWWWWRRRRRRRRROOOOOOO! These pics are so cool, you've got to be in our 2015 calendar OK?
I'm so hoppy to hear things are good. And a mile long walk is pretty darn amazing, I'd say that's great! Remember though that if you poop out even that is too far. Be sure to check out this blog post for tips about getting strong.

Toby, you are wonderful! Love your vantage point for the howl. Murphy walks faster now than he did as a quad. It's easier for him. When he has to go slow, there is a little hippity hop between steps. Faster means a better gait for him.
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
He looks great and is obviously one really happy dog!! Thanks for sharing the update and the pictures and making us all smile.
Luanne and Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Toby you look great!! Love your photos!! How the heck did you get up on that jacuzzi???
Thanks. It is his favorite spot to sunbathe and one day about a month ago I looked out and he was up there. He uses a bench that is next to the jacuzzi. It surprised me that he could get up there (and down ).

Be sure to put a reminder on your 2014 calendar, in September, so you can come back here and ask about the upcoming calendar, that way you can be sure he gets in it OK?
