Today, I will attempt to write the story of Herman up to this point.  Herman would love to pen his own autobiography, but he hasn't quite adapted to typing with one paw yet.

Herman came into our lives December of 2013 as a Christmas gift to ourselves.  Little did we know how quickly we would fall in love with this 1 1/2 lb dog.  He was always super cuddly and playful and photogenic:

As you can tell, he loved his Christmas presents.

Throughout the last few months he has found himself in many, many photos:

Things were going great until one fateful afternoon, Herman's parents had taken him to his favorite doggy sitting home, his Grandmother's house, to play with his two fur brothers Sonic and Spooky.  When the unthinkable happened, he leapt out of his sister's arms and shattered his little leg...

Sadly, his leg had to be removed and he was very sad about it.  But, like all great dogs, losing a paw won't keep a good dog down and his adventures will continue.

As these adventures happen, Herman will demand that I write more of his story just like he currently demands walks every time I get home from work.  So, I'm sure the next chapter of the Adventures of Herman will come soon, after some stern dog proof reading.
