Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about little Susie.
You keep thinking she is in your field of vision - maybe she is, just checking in to say that she's OK now, pain free, breathing easy and keeping an eye on you.
I love your avatar picture - Susie looks like she is thinking of just the best thing to cause trouble.
She left a big hole in your heart with her passing because she took up so much space there.
Hugs to you.
Tracey & Tai
Just so very, very sorry. Keep staying connected, okay? You can feel.our @ove and hugs through the computer screen, I know you can. You won't feel wuite so alone with us by yiur side.
And ya' know, energy of the Soul is quite a secret that the Universe loves to share with anyone open to it. When the Soul is all wrapped up in it's "earth clothes", we can see it, we touch it and we know it's there.
When the Soul returns to its original energy "clothes", because we can't "touch" it or "see" it like before, we beleve what we love is "gone". Not at all. The Soul has merely returned to it's energy state. So when you "feel" like you are "seeing" Susie, the imprint of her Soul is showing itself to you.
As Tracy said, she's checking in to say she's okay. Listen. Watch. Don't dismiss. Susie has changed form, but you will get more signs from her in time. Right now she's too busy shopping!! Even Soul's like to go shopping!
Love and comforting hugs from us all

Tracy and Benny, yes she was a huge part of me...and my heart feels as if it were torn in two. Susie was my heart, and I feel such a void where she used to be. It's a vast emptiness.
She always looked to me before she did anything, as if to ask if it was okay. She trusted me to always help her...and, in the end, when she came to me for help, I couldn't do anything to help her. That hurts so, so much.
I am so so sorry to hear about Susie's passing. This is the hardest part of our journey. One that even though we have support that we do on our own. The grief is ours. Susie knows you loved her dearly and deeply. She was greeted by many and she will show signs that she made it ok.
Run free little Susie. Until you meet your mom again.
hugs

Oh my gosh but you did help her. I know it's hard to see it right now, but treating her with the compassion and dignity she deserved right up until the end is the greatest gift humans can give to their animals. You helped her spirit transition over in calm, loving light and no living being could ask for more.

Yes, you absolutely did "help" her when she needed you most.....to be by her side as she willingly went to the light, again on Susie's terms. She did not want anymore trips to the vets or treatments. Susie knew her Soul's purpose was complete here on earth, and she returned "home" knowing she had done a splendid job! No, a SPECTACULAR job!!!
Susie chose YOU for this journey because she knew you would be by her side and the two of you would handle whatever life lessons needed to be taught. Susie chosenyou because she knew she would be loved and adored every single
moment she was in her earth clothes.
Susie IS in your heart. Every beat of your heart is full of her love and her wagging tail. That can never be taken away.
Have you had any sign yet? Some find pennies, or dimes. Some have dreams. Some dogs connect right away. Some are having so much fun at the Bridge it takes awhile before they realize their humans need a message from them! And some are too busy shopping.
Stay with us. We are here always.

Susie is with you but also with the Rainbow Bridge Angels and her spirit is alive, well, and everlasting. Susie passed from one form to another as everyne must at some point but Susie's spirit will ALWAYS be present with you. ALWAYS. This is the hardest of hard times but she is home again and not in pain and is running free. You were her person and she yours. She is ALWAYS with you. Not WAs but IS. Know that everyone at TriPawds Nation is with you and thinking of you and Susie. Lean on us. Huge hugs and huge PyrPaws from all of us at Da Bear HQ.
Thank you so much, everyone, for such kind thoughts and sweet messages. I read them all through many tears. Because my intense grief is not abating, I've got an appointment on Monday afternoon at K-State Veterinary Hospital with a full-time grief counselor who's on staff to help humans after the losses of their beloved animals. His services are free to those whose pets were patients at K-State.
I am hoping very much he can provide me with some comfort. I just cannot stop crying. She was my heart and my soul, the love of my life.
Hugs to you lyriclemon. What a kind thing for K-State to do, to provide grief counseling; I'm glad that you are reaching out.
My heart breaks for you when you talk about Susie being in the tiny box - she is not, she is in your heart and mind, forever a part of your life, a part of you. She is bigger than that box and will be with you always.
We are thinking of you. Please let us know how the grief counseling goes and remember, it will take time. There's no time limit, so don't beat yourself up thinking you "should be over it" or anything like that.

I'm so proud of you for taking that big step to reach out for grief support. It's not easy to do, but you made that call and just by doing so you are on your way to healing. You are stronger than you think and Angel Susie, as well as all of us, are keeping you in our hearts. Please check in with us OK? We care and want to know how you're doing.

Please let us know how it goes... that is just lovely they are able to offer that. I wish there were more places ... grief is such a powerful and personal thing. I am glad you have the opportunity to speak to a professional to hopefully ease some of the intensity of the pain. I think we all know that all too well and that is very courageous to reach out.
And feel free to post here as much as you want and as Sally said ... we have the helpline. It is for everything ... it is a support system!
Hugs for you ... I know this is hard but you are in my thoughts.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
