I just sent the blood tests, the doctor says that something in the liver is elevated and that he recommends operating on the leg to find out if it is cancer or an organ and to do a CT exam, but there is nothing wrong with the heart, lungs
Hello I feel desperate yesterday with the x-rays and tests I spent the last of my money my husband is the only one who is working and Tazmania needs to have a CT exam I have taken him to three veterinarians the first was at Bree's animal hospital Philadelphia PA they took him out some x-rays only of his foot and they told me it was cancer and that I should sleep on it that same day I paid 497. I did not want to do it, I looked for another opinion and I went to the veterinarian wood veterinary hospital Levittown PA they gave me medicine tramadol 50mg, gabapentin 600 mg, Prednisone 20mg they recommended me to do other yayos x of his paw chest heart lungs and for that reason I filled him to North Arlington dogs and cats veterinary hospital Kearny NJ they did all her x-rays of her lungs and heart and x-rayed her leg again I sent the results all the blood ones I feel desperate my big boy needs help please
Excuse me, I put that date because the doctor told me that perhaps by that date if the cancer had not spread they could do the surgery but I still do not have a doctor for the surgery and I am still looking for financial help and I spent all my savings In urine tests, blood, x-rays, medications, I sent you all the information by mail that you told me, I need help, please.

Jerry....thanks for all the translations. At one point the bottom of my screen showed I could tap from Spainish to English translation. Isn't appearing now.
Maybe I missed it, but where is she located? Maybe close to the Richm6 area?
Wasn't quite clear, but please convey to her that many surgeries proceed without CT scans and just go with xrays of clear lungs. Not sure if the liver workup was showing something different. from osteo?? Were they concerned about Hermangisarcoma????
The heartbreak of not having finances to handle catastrophic expenses (or even smaller ones for that matter) to help our beloved pets is truly gutwrenching. Many of us understand the feeling of desperation and overwhelming despair.....and even the guilt associated with not having monies needed. It is a sickening feeling.
It sounds like she is getting her dog's pain managed and that's even more than some are able to do financially. Just keep checking out options and know that, no matter what, youj are doing the very best you can with the circumstances you have! Your pup knows she is loved and that all that matters to her♥️
Another thought.......don't know if she has friends who can help her set up a Go Fund Me page maybe???
((((((((((Hugs)))))))))
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

She is in New Jersey but says she is willing to drive.
Yes this is very heartbreaking!
I forgot to mention about CT scans not being necessary in many cases. No idea if hemangio or osteosarcoma is suspected. I'm surprised the vets are recommending a CT, if they are familiar with her circumstances. I will translate what you said. Thank you dear friend!
Hello, good evening, I am the mother of Tazmania. I have done everything I could, but helping hands has not communicated with me. I even got the money for her operation. I sent all the exams and record of Tazmania, but they do not answer me. I would like to know if you know about another foundation or veterinarian that can treat me with surgery and treatment please let me know and not give up taxmania is part of my family we love him with all our hearts and he wants to live my child
We are not giving up on Tazmania!! We understand the depths of your love for him and your willingness to do everything possible for him. We admire your determination and deep bond greatly♥️.
Perhaps Jerry will be able to make a contact for you at helping hands. I believe she has maybe done some radio interviews with the surgeon there, I'm not sure. I do know that, as far as in this area, they would be the least expensive place to go.

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Hi there. I'm sorry there is a communication problem with Helping Hands. Did you try calling them or just emailing? Remember, they are not able to cover the cost of surgery but their prices are the lowest around. If you have not called them, I would give them a try. Unfortunately I do not know anyone there personally at this point, their original owner has sold the practice to another veterinarian.
Call them, do not email:
Phone 804-355-3500
Also, here is that list again of organizations that may be able to help:

Is Tazmania on any pain medication right now?
